Welcome to the Home of Howell Rebels American Youth Football and Cheerleading (AYFC)! We are the premier non-profit youth sports organization serving athletes from Howell /Farmingdale New Jersey and the surrounding areas.
What We Offer
We provide safe, structured, and fun athletic opportunities for children of all skill levels, emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic excellence. Our programs run in both the Spring and Fall seasons:
Youth Tackle Football:( Ages 7-14 )- Fall: Competitive football for older age groups, focusing on skill development and challenging play within the NJ Shore AYF league against local towns like Jackson, Freehold, and Wall.- NFL Flag Football (Ages 5-14) – Spring: Our popular low-contact Spring Flag Football program runs from April through June. It’s the perfect environment for players ages 5 to 14 to learn fundamentals like passing, catching, and routes. Games are typically played on Friday evenings, making it easy for families to participate without interrupting weekend plans.
🏈 Fall Flag Football (Ages 4 – 6) – Fall: Designed specifically as a fun introductory option for the youngest athletes, this is a great way to build confidence and coordination. Games are typically held during the week on Wednesday evenings from August through October.
- Competitive Cheerleading (Ages 5-18): Our award-winning cheer program offers teams for various age and skill levels. our squads compete locally in the NJ Shore Conference & Nationally. We focus on teaching stunting, tumbling, jumps, and routines in a disciplined, supportive atmosphere.
- Game Day/Instructional Cheer: ( Ages 3-6 ) Cheerleading for fun and to support our tackle teams, focusing on routines and spirit and the fundamentals of cheerleading.
